Tessellation Table

Painted Steel and Glass //

Created using a randomized algorithm the lines of tessellation and folding in the sheet provide structural stiffness in the table base as well as the decorative element to the design. Flat 1/8" steel sheets are cut with a waterjet and folded.

This technique is also tested on other prototypes bringing a domesticity to digital fabrication.
